Prakash Sherpa

Managing Director

The founder and Owner of Alpinist Climber Expeditions, and an IFMGA Mountain Guide. He has been working as a mountain guide since 2011 and specialist in climbing expeditions to the world’s famous mountains.

Prakash Sherpa is a mountaineering passionate who enjoys sharing his significant knowledge and expertise with high mountain expeditions. He started his climbing career at a young age, got his initial guidance from his grandparents, father, and uncle. All of who were prominent guides at the time. When was at the age of 15 years old, he climbed Mera Peak (6,476m) for the first time in his life. There was no looking back as he got an opportunity to be involved and work in high-altitude mountains in different parts of the world, including Europe, New Zealand, and Asia.

Prakash Sherpa has successfully climbed multiple peaks over 8000-meters. Everest 8,848m, Lhotse 8,516m, Makalu 8,463m, Cho Oyu 8,188m, Dhaulagiri 8,167m, and Manaslu 8,163m. As well as other peaks below 8000m including technical peaks Nuptse 7,862m, Pumori 7,162m and Ama Dablam 6,812m. And four of them, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu, are without supplementary oxygen💥
