Drive to Chame
We have to begin very early as we go on a long drive to reach our trek starting point. After breakfast, we drive along forested ridges with several landslides on route on the west. On our way to Chame, we come to meet with the most sensational views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525m)
Trek to Pisang
After steep and narrow paths through a very thick forest bring us to the dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. As the trail opens up, we find ourselves surrounded by majestic Himalayan Peaks in the U-shaped valley of Manang hanging between two giant snow peaks. After passing through these wonderful sites, we reach Pisang. Overnight at Pisang.
Trek to Manang
The panoramic views of the mountain peaks, such as Annapurna, Pisang peak, and several others will definitely mesmerize us. You can also find a memorable Barge monastery that you can visit, the biggest in the entire district of Manang. Overnight in Manang.
Rest and acclimatisation day
Today as scheduled is the day we acclimatize. It is recommended not to stay idle but instead go for a short walk. A higher altitude will be better to get acclimatized, So, we acclimatize our body to adjust to the conditions. Manang is a good place to do that as the next two days will be a very challenging and strenuous trek with rapid gain in altitude. We should never be careless when it comes to altitude and always be cautious. Overnight at Manang.
Trek to Ledar
From Manang, we move on through alpine landscapes with high-altitude vegetation and forests. A gradual hike takes us to Yak Kharka and then to our today’s camp. Ledar village is usually used as the alpine pasture by the local people.
Trek to Chulu West base camp
Today, we continue the hike from Ledar to Chulu West Base Camp. From the Base Camp, we can enjoy the views of the Annapurna Himalayas. We can also discover the surrounding areas. At this base camp, our staff will set up our camp for overnight stay.
Climb up to High Camp
From the Chulu Base Camp, we keep on hiking towards high camp. The route is not that difficult. But we must not forget that we are climbing at high altitudes. At this point, we appreciate the magnificent views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains including Manaslu, Gangapurna, and Lamjung Himal.
